Evans Appraisal Service was founded in 1960, by Michael L. Evans, ASA, ARA, making us the oldest appraisal firm in Chico.  Mr. Evans was a professional, Certified General Real Estate Appraiser (AG006614), for over 30 years.  He was a leader and a senior member of the American Society of Appraisers, the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers. Mr. Evans passed away in February of 1999, leaving his legacy to his two sons Michael H. Evans, FASA, Urban/Rural, and Mark D. Evans. 

Mike and Mark have since developed Evans Appraisal Service into a corporation, which is run with a high level of efficiency and professionalism.  After conducting business for over 40 years in the appraisal industry, Evans Appraisal Service continues to be a leader in the use of all current technology innovations, and data services beneficial in the appraisal process.
