I have lived in the Corvallis area for over 40 years, and have worked in the capacity of a licensed residential appraiser of real property for the past 30 years. Over that time I have appraised hundreds of one to four family residences primarily in the Corvallis/Albany/Philomath areas. My appraisals are consistently completed in a professional and timely manner following the criteria established by the Federal Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice governed by the Appraisal Standards Board. The appraisals are generally intended to establish the Market Value of a property as of a specific date, determined by my client.

A request for an appraisal may come from you, from your lending institution, from your attorney or from your accountant. Appraisals to be used for lending purposes are normally ordered by the lending institution due to federal regulations.
