Crested Butte Appraisal Service Real estate is my only business. In addition to my owner/broker license for Paradise Real Estate I have also owned Crested Butte Appraisal Service for the past 12 years which is a perfect match to keep current and updated daily to our ever-changing market. I also keep busy in our rental market by managing several long-term rental properties. I have done several building projects within our historic district and am very familiar with the local building construction coordination process. I first came to Crested Butte 27 years ago for a ski trip and never left. In 1980, I fell into the common scenario “I came for the winter and stayed for the summer”. I believe we have one of the best playgrounds on earth with a surrounding of over a million square miles of public lands, fourteen thousand foot peaks and endless trail system. Whenever possible I am out there skiing the mountain, Nordic trail system or riding the trails on the mountain bike in the summer. I hold a FAA Commercial and Certified Flight Instructor certificates and fly airplanes around our mountains on special blue-sky days. I have great 2 daughters and keep chasing me out there and it’s looking like one day they just may come close to catching up with me! Crested Butte is a great safe place for kids to grow up.
