    Alpine Appraisal Group, Inc.

Alpine Appraisal Group, Inc., formerly known as Alpine Appraisals was founded in 1991 by George A. Gautier to serve the growing need for residential valuations in the custom mountain home communities of Truckee and Lake Tahoe.

George’s logical approach and can do attitude gained Alpine Appraisals a reputation for tackling assignments that others turned away. The unique custom mountain homes in our beautiful alpine communities, presents many challenges to appraisers that George had a knack for understanding.

As our mountain communities continued to develop, George saw an opportunity to share his experience with other budding appraisers who were attracted to Alpine Appraisals by his willingness to mentor, positive attitude and ability to appraise just about anything.

As more and more like minded appraisers joined Alpine Appraisals, we quickly learned that together we could provide our clients with superior residential appraisal services under one roof. We have continued to demonstrate to our clients that we can reliably produce high quality professional appraisals, faster and in more markets, for the same fee as our competitors.

At the request of our clients Alpine Appraisals began expanding our service area into other markets. This growing list now includes more than 10 counties throughout Northern California and Northern Nevada.

On January 18th, 2005 we lost our friend, mentor, brother and founder, George A. Gautier to a fatal accident. It was an unexpected and heavy blow to Alpine Appraisals and all who were fortunate to know him.

George taught us well and helped to instill in us the same can do attitude that was so integral to him. The professional people who were mentored by George and helped to make Alpine Appraisals a success continue to carry on what George started.

Today we are known as Alpine Appraisal Group, Inc.

Our success has earned Alpine Appraisal Group, Inc. and its appraiser members a reputation for being experts in their respective markets, consistently demonstrating their professionalism and ability to providing reliable appraisal services with a quick turn around.

Our group is made up of highly educated, licensed and certified appraisers, who posses a broad range of industry related and professional experience and share a commitment to our clients, the profession and the industry.

On behalf of Alpine Appraisal Group, Inc. thank you for your continued business and support. We look forward to serving your residential real estate appraisal needs in Northern California and Northern Nevada.
